Tigard's current chicken keeping laws require 100' between a chicken coop and the closest neighboring residence. Most homes do not have this large of a lot. City Council is ready to amend these laws, and make them friendlier to backyard coops - they're just waiting to hear our collective chicken-loving voices! Help me organize and address city council to allow existing coops to remain, and bring more backyard chickens into our community.

We are NE Portland neighbors educating ourselves, experimenting, and taking steps toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle.
